The show consists of Native Wayne interviewing and playing music by The Police, The Clash, Sublime, Bob Marley, 311, Slightly Stoopid, Red Hot Chili Peppers, The Specials, No Doubt, The English Beat, Pepper, Damian Marley, Madness. Native Wayne has been one of the leading figures in reggae music for over 20 years. As a producer he has worked with Gwen Stefani and No Doubt (with whom he won two Grammys) and Keith Richards. As a musician he has played with such artists as 311, Jimmy Cliff and Willie Nelson. As a remixer he has worked with Bush and Jason Mraz . As a songwriter he has worked with Sugar Ray and Jimmy Buffett. As a filmmaker, Wayne was nominated for a Canadian Academy Award for his film on reggae legend Peter Tosh. As a radio personality he has been Program Director at XM Satellite Radio and on KROQ and Indie 103.1.
